A Christmas Gift

You Tube is a great place to go to think about what you are going to get your loved ones for Christmas. I know it is strange to turn to the Internet and specifically to a video sharing site to get ideas on what to get your family but it is actually a very good plan. For instance, when I have to get a gift for my 15-year-old niece I go to the channels of 15-year-old girls on YouTube and I see what kind of clothes they are wearing what kind of products they are fine. Then, I know exactly what is cool and I know what I need to get my niece in order to make her happy on Christmas morning. It is very important to me to find good gifts and I will definitely do research if that is what it takes. My daughter thinks that I’m crazy but I think I am just a good gift giver.

One of the best gift ideas that I have ever gotten is something that I found out about on You Tube. I was looking for a gift for my son and I did not know what to get him because he is a man and I do not know the kind of things that men like to buy. But then I found a YouTube video of a man that is just like my son playing an amazing computer game. The game was so interesting and it was so entertaining. I sent the YouTube channel owner a message about the game and he told me everything about it and even included a link to buy the game. That is how I bought the game on the Internet and had it sent directly to my son’s house. He told me that it was the best gift that he got that year and I was very proud.

Another great gift that I found on You Tube was an amazing trendy new outfit for my daughter. I do not quite understand how fashion works these days and I never know what looks good and what looks bad. I do not know what the children are interested in and what is out of fashion at the moment. That is why I turned to the Internet to find out about the current hot fashion trends. I found a YouTube girl but dressed very interestingly and I messaged her about her attire. She responded to me describing all of her clothing and recommending what I should buy my daughter that Christmas. I was so flattered and honored that she would spend that kind of time helping an old lady pick out a gift. People really are nice out there.

Finally, I even find gift ideas for myself on You Tube. Every Christmas people ask me for a list of things that I want. Usually I do not want anything because I do not like to get gifts. And the same was the case this year. I did not want a gift because there is nothing that I need in my life. Therefore, I used YouTube to find a great homeless altar near me. They had videos of how you could help the needy and I directed all of my friends and family to that video. I asked them to make a donation in my name. That year I ended up donating a lot of money to the poor and that made me feel better than any gift ever could have. It feels so good to give to the needy and I have YouTube to thank for getting the message across to all of my family and friends that that is what I wanted. I think I’m going to do the same thing this year.
